Aww are you offended? lol...to any outsider you look like Michael Myers...but to us regulars you're that extra 10% :)
I'm impressed with the video coverage from Fox, but WHY did they wait till the 3rd to last game of the season...it doesnt help us as much now as it would have in the first half of the season...

Awesome awesome video! Meghan is a sweetheart too, talked to her at the game the other night and she was saying she really didn't know much about hockey until they asked her to do this.
Anyway awesome video and I was in it! yay! can't wait for tonight!

Well you know the local media. If a "minor" team is heading to the playoffs, cover it a bit. To me everyone on this board, there is nothing minor about our Clones.

| I know I shouldn't be complaining because any coverage is good at this point, but I just don't see the point in showing a Johnstown goal on Loic's poor decision to rush out to the blue line and then throw the bit in there about fighting. The few fans (in my opinion) that come to see a fight know that, I don't think they need the news to tell them, I would have just spent more time talking about the team's success. After all, there wasn't even a fight in that game Wednesday. But whatever. Overall I'm glad they got this done, just that part irritated me. |

I have to agree that any coverage is good coverage. The little clip with "Loic's Poke Check Adventure" was fine; it shows how fast the game is played and the excitement involved.
Like most I could have done without the fighting reference but with the mini segment with Syroczynski it almost put it in perspective... guys sticking up for the other guys. I would have liked to have them focus more on the scoring and the team but I give it a solid A- effort.

Unless you were at the game, you couldn't have really tell what happened unless you rewind that clip. They probably showed it because players were jumping in the air. |

Many first-time fans who sit behind me dont know what the Heckler is all about..so I explain to them...and also the human siren thing....ya know, I dont know see much tv...but didnt have my laptop with me last night, was unable to make the game... and I HAD to know what the score was before going to bed.....so wondered if it would even be shown on tv since there's like 2 lines in the Enquirer if we're lucky....I chose 19..and was very pleased to see coverage of the game last night...and also to even see an interview in the lockerroom of Mark Van Guilder by Betsy Ross!!!...does anyone know whether any other station covers us this well? I was impressed..I sent them an email to thank them and that Heckler is #1 fan!

It figures that a feel good thread that is a great boost to the team would be turned into negativity with people complaining about what clips they showed. It was an action packed moment with our goalie although not his best moment it showed what goes on, it was crazy and worked great in the piece. Just enjoy it and quit picking it apart...Meghan is hot |
