I don't know how many of you know Patrick Purcell but he's the young man that wears a hard hat while walking around selling pop, beer, peanuts. He is having surgery today to get rid of a tumor behind his right ear. If there's enough response I'll bring a get well card to the game Saturday night so that those of you that know Pat can sign it if you so choose. Please respond to this post or off-site.
Thanks. |

| I have called Pat's mom & as of 3:15 PM this is the report: his surgery will last 8-10 hours (he went in around 8:00 AM) and the tumor is the size of a golf ball. I will keep you all updated as I get more information. |

| I talked to him on the way out Monday and found out about it. He seemed to be in good spirits about it, I told him that it should go fine because there should be plenty of room in that cavernous melon of his for the doctor to operate. Definitely keep us up to date, hopefully everything turns out flawless for him! |

| Thank you for the update. We talk to him regularly at the games. We did know about the surgery and are keeping him in our prayers. We'll check here later to see if you have any more news. |

Yes I will also be over to sign the card for him. I haven't had a tumor in the head but have had many surgeries to remove others, so I know what he is going threw. I had no clue that he had one and I will be saying a extra prayer for him and his family tonight. I hope all goes well and he has a full and speedy recovery. Keep your spirits up Pat and we will see you soon. |

Oscar & Lynn-I will do that for you! Heckler-I'll come find you outside.
As of 7PM, they were done with the actual surgery & were sewing him up. I'll call again tomorrow & post an update. |

| I also want to wish Pat the beer man the best of luck in his recovery. I've met him at other venues as well as USBA. There has never been a beer man quite like him. I'll miss him. |
