| I agree wholeheartedly with hrc666 regarding finding a capable replacement. When JJ was acquired last season the team took on a totally different chemistry since they finally had someone to watch their back and stand up for them. In my opinion, before he arrived we had our butts handed to us many times in the physical department. We will miss him and he was entertaining - the 12 goals and 10 assists didn't hurt either. The best of luck JJ!! |

| The only person I think would be able to replace JJ would be Mike Salekin and TJ Mac but only if they resign with us and those are a big ?????? |

Don't take this wrong, but in some ways I'm glad to see Justin gone. Justin came here with the image of a "goon", but Coach Weber made him into a legit player on the ice. However, the refs always treated him as a "goon" resulting in "ticky" penalties called on him while he was being assaulted on the ice with no calls. Without him, maybe refs will not deem us as a fighting team and give us the respect we had 2007-2008 season. To Justin, thanks again for your effort and the fun you brought to the team last year. Good luck in Alaska and play like you did for us,not like how Utah had you playing. |

| I am sad to see Justin go. This team was down and out before he came, and when he arrived he played hard and brought the fans and team back to where they needed to be! He was a hard working player. I spoke to Justin several times and he was homesick. Coach Weber kept his promise to him! I am sad to see him go, but am happy that he is happy! My best wishes to him!! |

Justin brought a physical presence and a lot of character to our team. I imagine he will do the same for Alaska. I just hope their fans remember he prefers anything over Bud Light.
Doug Krantz is a capable defenseman that always seemed to bring his "A" game when Wheeling played us. Hopefully that will continue when he plays FOR us.

I guess this is a testament to Weber's ability to get the most out of his players. Check this out:
