Couldnt find the past thread about this topic, but figured heck, why not start a new one.
Anyone heard anything about any possible changes to the jersey/uniform this year? I think we're due. |

Get rid of the logo and put a picture of Wildman's face on the uni instead.
That ought to either scare the crap out of our opponents or make them sick to their stomach's. |

| I wish they had never changed from the IHL style jerseys with the bigger logo that actually said "Cyclones" right on it. Those were my favorite. Also, bring back yellow! |

Um, maybe because
1.) teams have been known to make changes, even if slight changes, to their uniforms, every so-many years. I dont think theres an exact time, but we have been fairly consistant with just the Twister logo for almost 15 yrs.
2.) We're constantly getting put down for our teams uniform in comparision to others. I love the Twister logo, however, I think that with the creativity in the staff of the organization, there could be something better thought up, even if it means keeping all or some of Twister.....we just won a KC....lets start new - is all Im sayin'
Oh, and the red/white/black "jersey color" change isnt what I could consider a change.

The away red jerseys are perfect.
I THINK we are the only team with our team logo on the back of the jersey. |

I've always loved the Twister logo, even though some make fun of it for being "cartoon-ish". But really, how else are you supposed to reprensent a non-living thing as a mascot? I think it's awesome...
That being said, I really do wish they would go back to having gold/yellow jerseys. They are my favorite!
And I don't believe I've ever heard anyone put down our team's uniforms. On the contrast, I've heard many compliments from other team's fans about our uniforms. Multiple people in Wheeling and Johnstown last year told us how much they like our white set and the red set as well. The black gets a little boring for me, but you can't get away with not having a black set when one of your team colors is black! |

There are 1-2 "online contests" each year for best team logo/uniform, and the Cyclones almost always get shut down in the beginning. I remember in the mid-90's, the Cyclones uniforms were DEAD LAST in voting by a thing ran by the IHL.
Dont get me wrong, I love our jerseys, each and every one of them we've had, Im just saying that a change may be appropriate. |

Our jersey is the most original. All of the other jerseys match their affiliates in similarity which is boring. Plus, they used the white jersey. |
