WHEELING, West Virginia The Cincinnati Cyclones collected a pair of third period goals to claim a 3-2 win at Wheeling on Sunday night. Doug Krantz, appearing in his first game since October 30, scored the game tying goal for the Cyclones. Scott Reynolds and Barret Ehgoetz each had a pair of points in the victory.
Cincinnati opened the scoring at 6:35 of the first period when Scott Reynolds snapped a shot from the right faceoff dot past Wheeling goaltender Adam Berkhoel. It was Reynold's eighth goal of the season and was assisted by Brett Motherwell and Barret Ehgoetz. The Nailers would tie the game at one when Jordan Fox snuck his sixth goal of the campaign past Cincinnati netminder Robert Mayer. On the power play, Fox worked from the right corner in behind the Cyclones net and popped out the opposite side and flipped the puck just inside the nearside post. The shots in the opening frame favored Wheeling, 10-7.
Wheeling scored the lone goal of the second period to grab a 2-1 lead. Pierce Norton fired a shot from the left wing side for his third goal of the season. Slavomir Tomko fed a pass ahead to Blair Yaworski up the right wing side, who spotted Norton and slid the puck cross ice for the one-timer. Cincinnati won the shots battle, 9-8.
The Cyclones rallied with two third period goals to take the victory. Doug Krantz picked up his second goal of the season in a goal mouth scramble at 8:03 from Reynolds and Ehgoetz. Seventh year man Jason Jozsa notched his second of the season at 15:41 from Matt Pierce and Brett Robinson to close out the victory. The shots in the third period were dominated by Cincinnati, 14-5, and for the game the Cyclones outshot the Nailers, 30-23.
Robert Mayer picked up his fourth win of the season, stopping 21 shots. Adam Berkhoel turned in 27 saves in taking the loss. Wheeling were one for six on the power play, while Cincinnati was zero for eight with the extra attacker.
Barret Ehgoetz tied Sheldon Gorski for the club's career games played lead. Both players appeared in 218 games for the squad (Gorski played all of his while the team was located in Louisville).
Cincinnati is now 10-8-1, while Wheeling is 7-10-2. The club returns to U.S. Bank Arena on Wednesday night (December 2) for a 7:30pm clash with North Division leader Kalamazoo. It is another Wet Wednesday with one dollar Pabst Blue Ribbon and Miller High Life cans throughout the evening.

Selected Friday night games are carried on 1530-AM Homer, while all 72 regular season games can be heard on the club's website at: www.cycloneshockey.com. The next game on 1530 Homer will come next Friday night (December 4) when Florida visits the Cyclones at 7:30pm.
