David Desharnais registered his fourth NHL goal tonight, tipping in a shot by P.K. Subban past Boston's Tim Thomas while Montreal was on the power play.
Three of his four goals have been scored on tip-ins. Former Cincinnati Swords right wing Jim Nichols, who was 5-foot-9, scored a lot of his goals the same way. He went on to become a college professor. |

| The Diminutive One earned an assist on Montreal's last goal in an 8-6 loss. |

| Don, you actually have to be on FREAKIN NHL ICE to even score tip-ins. I said it before, the kids living his dream. On another note, there isn't a word that can describe you. |

One goal and one assist in 13:24 of playing time. 7/14 (50%) on face offs. DD was also a plus 1.
Scott Gomez was pointless and -4 in 13:26 of ice time. Gomez was a scintillating 0/7 on face offs.
Gomez made 14 times more pay than DD for his "efforts".
Through his first 16 games, DD has 4 goal and 3 assists. He is a minus 1 and has 4 PIM.
He has 26 shots on goal which surprises me. He's averaging 1.625 shots on goal per game which is much higher than I would have expected.
He continues to show that he can produce points in the NHL in spite of limited ice time and 3rd line quality wingers.
He's also earned about $100,000 as an NHLer since his recall from Hamilton on December 31st. That's more than most top AHL-contracted players make in an entire season.
He's having a very good year. Almost all of us here are happy for him.

He was stating that you have to be participating in a National Hockey League game to score a National Hockey League goal, inferring that no matter what type of goal it was, it was still a goal scored at the highest level of the sport.
Please try to follow along, Donald. |

Where did I state or infer that it wasn't still a goal? I simply described how he was scoring his goals.

| Donnie you knew that the statement about Nichols was going to set the hounds loose. Alot of what you post on here is very informative and interesting about hockey, but stupid remarks like that is what really drives people crazy. We are all guilty of stupid statements but Donnie keep the facts facts. DD scored a goal and an assist done nobody argues, nobody complains. |

| I could have sworn David had 2 assists, but maybe they changed the official scoring. That was an amazing game to watch. His goal was no tip-in either. Subban passed to DD at the bottom of the circle. DD wristed one to the top of the crease where another Canadien was standing, but the puck hit Thomas' stick and went in. DD was also out there towards the end when things were getting ugly, but didn't dance with anyone. He's doing an amazing job, and even the commentators said he was so. They know more than we ALL know...even Joe! Go Dave!! |

Here's how the goal is described on the NHL's official game play-by-play log:

| Donnie--have one basic question. If you don't like the Cyclones, don't think any of the alumni are NHL quality, why do you even spend a minute on this board? Serious question and would appreciate a serious response. |
