| The Cincinnati Enquirer is running a survey (http://vovici.com/wsb.dll/s/5953g3a3ba) about the Bungles and question seven asks: "Rank the region's top college programs and pro franchises from best to worst in terms of your confidence in each to consistently put out a great product." Guess who is not even listed after bringing home a championship, which the Bungles have not or will never do! Geez, they even listed Tennis and the Kentucky Speedway. I let the Enquirer know what they could kiss... |

| Actually at the bottom of the survey there is a spot for comments, which is where I included mine. There may be a general one for the sports department but I'm not sure who to send it to. |

| sending an email to the enquirer does just as much good as sending an email to the Cyclones front office. the Cyclones staff think they know it all about hockey and the Enquirer staff thinks it knows all about UC/Xavier/Reds/Bengals and W&S tennis, perhaps alittle on the sand volleyball tourny when it rolls into town in the fall |

Randy, I agree with you're first statement there. Cyclones fan win or lose. I absolutely love the boys, regardless of who is on the team, who is coaching, and who is running it. I love the team and I love the fans(the real fans).
Anyway back on topic, if we want promotion we have to do it ourselves. I've posted it in another topic, you have to spread the word yourself in addition to the little bit that we have going on media wise. |

not true. i recall last season they had a an online survey regarding sports stories and the cyclones were laid off. i know several emails were sent and in several hours after the survey first showed up it had been edited to incorporate the cyclones.
let's just face it, hockey, for the most part, is never going to get major press in this city, not to mention the national media in general. shortly after the winter classic i heard a national radio personality mention that there are only 2 times per year when he cares enough to talk about hockey; the winter classic and the stanely cup playoffs.
last season chuck as well as several players appeared on the sunday night sports shows. the hosts were so badly prepared that i felt sorry for the guys. hammer can provide all the press releases in the world to those guys but if the hosts don't care enough to prepare what else can you do other than club the host in the head and let hammer or someone that has a clue conduct the segment. |

Honest to God, it's okay. His negativity makes me laugh! While some of the Enquirer staff needs to go suck one, they have listened to us in the past, and I'll email them as I have in the past! |

| its getting scary folks with the enquirer cutting pages, just think what the sports pages will be. 3 pages of Reds stuff, a half a page of Xavier/UC womens track reports. |

| I got this all straightend out, not only emailed but i got on the horn and called down to the community press, theyll be covering the Clones but only on Tuesdays and Thursdays, the rest of the days have to go to the community treasure chest junk ads |
