Wednesday vs. Reading in Dungton there were no more than 600 in the stands. Probably closer to 500. Announced 1809.

No, we don't have a lower attendance average than you. In real numbers. In fact, the actual number in the seats is likely 25% higher for the Cyclones than the Bombers. And, we have a far greater proportion of week night games relative to yours.

Not whining. Just telling the truth.

Congrats on you first win in about a month. Cya the 20th.

Maybe the cyclones should start lying about their attendance too.

Boost Cincinnati's to a level at least even with Dayton? No offense, but if you really buy that, even as a fan of the Bombers, that's a joke. It's no secret that in order to keep the sponsors Dayton announces tickets out and the crowds announced are usually comical when you actually attend the game, which I've done many times from 03-04 to current, some before, but those are when I took in the bulk of games at the Nutter. If you've been to some Tuesday or Wednesday games at USBA with sub-1000 crowds, which I suspect you have at some point, you'll find them announced as such The bottom line is that neither of these areas are great hockey towns and struggle with attendance. But to say Cincinnati is struggling to draw what Dayton gets is, as I said, a joke considering you'd basically be buying into the fake numbers which mean nothing ... you may like to see the numbers but the league knows the situation.

And finally, I really wish people would stop using the ridiculous "Cincinnati is a big town so they should draw a lot" comment. I could also go ahead and say the cliche comment that since Dayton is small, there is nothing else to do, so they should be packing the house, but I'm willing to bet you wouldn't buy it.

Thanks. That losing streak was p-a-i-n-f-u-l.

In order to know how we calcuclate attendance up here, you should know there are 10 kinds of people in the world - those who know binary and those who don't.

Your comment about both towns struggling with attendance is the important part. As if the economy isn't enough, this AHL attempt on the Montgomery/Warren County border is gonna kill one (ours definitely) or maybe both ECHL teams off and then flame out itself after the newness wears off. My opinion is having a Cin-Day rivalry is the best and most stable long-term situation for both towns, especially with Toledo coming back to the ECHL. A team that belongs to both everyone and no one (aka the "corridor") in SW Ohio doesn't seem the best solution. Past hockey wars in both towns have done damage to the two ECHL teams and we're beginning to enter another one. Comments?

Now go wallow in first place until we knock you out of it on the 20th.
