I just got a message (last night) from his girlfriend that Kevin had a stroke & is in ICU at Chapel Hill Hospital.

I'll pass along information as I receive it.
Hockey is life. All the rest is just small stuff.

Update from this morning: his heart rate is stable & his brain swelling is getting better. His stroke was a massive one & although he can talk, he's paralyzed on his left side. They are talking about 4-6 months of recovery time. His mom, brother, sister, & Shari are there with him & Lauren now.
Hockey is life. All the rest is just small stuff.

Hmmmmmm Anybody know where we can get a really BIG 'Get Well' card and bring to the game on Friday and get a LOT of signers to send good wishes to 'Heckler'? A lot of fans would sign I am sure, and I know it would be a great boost to his moral and recovery to know we are all thinking about him.

To Banner Lady-I already brought a notepad this past Saturday & got the people I know that know Kevin to sign that & I will be sending them + the card I bought tomorrow.
