| I didnt know him very well personally (only talked to him a couple times) but he was always the first person I pointed out to anybody I brought to their first Cyclones game. He was a true fan in the most sincere from of the word. Prayers for his family and friends. |

I was very sad, and frankly shocked, to read the news this afternoon. I never met him personally, and I only had a few indirect conversations with him on these boards, but I felt like I knew him.
Anyone could tell that he was the most passionate of the fans and he will be sorely missed. Dustin Sproat even tweeted about his passing earlier today. I imagine the Cyclones will put together a tribute of some kind in his honor this Friday Night....quite ironic that it will be Fan Appreciation night.
Rest in Peace, Heckler and may God Bless..

"Never take your loved ones for granted: they could be gone tomorrow"
All of my dreams Seem to fall by the side Like a discarded thought Or the day's fading light But I know that if I could just See you tonight FOREVER!
At times we may fall, Like we all tend to do But I'll reach out and find That I've run into you your strength is the power That carried me through FOREVER!
Your kindness for weakness I never mistook I worried you often, Yet you understood That life is so fleeting, These troubles won't last FOREVER!
Inspired me truly You did from the start To not be afraid And to follow my heart There's a piece of you with me They can't tear apart FOREVER!
In times we may fall Like we all tend to do Your strength is the power That carried me through forever
Forever I'll find you, forever we'll be Forever your power and strength stays with me Forever… |

What an incredible loss. The Heckler was truly a larger than life character.
I'll always remember running into him and Joe (HRC666) up in Cleveland to watch the Bulldogs play the Monsters. Kevin was in full regalia and there was an endless stream of Monsters fans wanting to get their picture taken with him. I think they thought he was their mascot or something...(never mind the Cyclone on his chest) Ceddy saw him and pointed him out to Aubin; they both gave him a wave.
Any fan who saw him banging on the glass or dancing during the breaks in the action had to know while we were fans, he was fanatical. Thanks for the memories, man. |

Wow.
Contrary to what most people likely think, based on what they saw down behind the goal... A really nice guy.
At first I thought the 'clones need to do a moment of silence Friday night, but actually we need to have a moment of stomping and glass banging. I'm not kidding. Don't tell me that's not what he would have wanted.

| I'd personally like to see the #666 jersey be retired. It would be an awesome tribute to one of the team's biggest fans, but I love your idea as well. |

I got a note last night from Lauren that the funeral will be either April 7th or 8th. More details to come as I know them.
